RaceTrac is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced, guest-focused team. You’ll set the tone, coach staff, ensure food safety standards, and keep the store running smoothly during your shift.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience in retail, restaurant, or food service.
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to obtain required permits (food handlers, alcohol server, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift with a cheerful, can-do attitude.
• Provide direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real-time, offering guidance and support during every shift.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary.
• Oversee store processes including inventory, write-offs, cash wrap, and compliance documentation.
• Lead shift change communication and ensure team alignment throughout the day.
