Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced team and ensure guest satisfaction on every shift. You will manage food service, stocking, cash handling, and daily operations while coaching teammates to meet RaceTrac’s standards.

You will drive guest experience, train staff, and ensure compliance with safety and quality controls, with opportunities for growth and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience in retail/food service (preferred).
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environments.
• Ability to follow through on tasks and coach others to do the same.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Winning Team on Your Shift and set a cheerful, can-do tone.
• Coach team members in real-time and provide guidance during shifts.
• Oversee store operations including cash handling, inventory, and cleanliness.
• Ensure guest concerns are addressed with empathy and professionalism.
• Train and develop store team members and lead shift change communication.
• Maintain compliance with safety and store policies.
