RaceTrac is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced, guest-focused team on a per-shift basis. You will drive store operations, coach associates, and ensure food safety, cleanliness, and accurate cash handling. Your leadership will influence daily performance and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience (retail, restaurant, or food service preferred).
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environments.
• Ability to follow through on tasks and coach others to do the same.
• Strong communication and team building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a winning team on your shift with a cheerful, can-do attitude.
• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real-time, offering guidance and support.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary.
• Train and guide your team to meet guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee inventory, vendor check-ins, and promotional communication.
• Lead shift change communication and ensure team alignment throughout the day.
• Monitor task completion and provide immediate feedback to drive results.
