RaceTrac Petroleum, Inc. is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a winning team on each shift, setting a positive tone and ensuring guest satisfaction. The role involves coaching staff, managing food service tasks, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

You will drive store operations, handle inventory and cash processes, and contribute to a fast-paced, customer-focused environment with opportunities for growth and development.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience (retail, restaurant, or food service preferred).
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).
• Strong communication and team-building skills.
• High School Diploma or GED (in progress or completed).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks without frequent breaks.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain required permits (food handlers, alcohol server, etc.).

• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real-time, offering guidance and support during every shift.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary.
• Drive Operational Excellence by training and guiding the team to meet standards.
• Oversee key store processes including inventory, cash wrap, and compliance documentation.
• Lead shift change communication and ensure team alignment throughout the day.
