Job summary

Wingstop is seeking a Shift Leader to drive daily restaurant operations, lead a fast-paced team, and uphold brand standards during each shift. You will serve as the Manager on Duty and ensure exceptional guest experiences through quality, service, and cleanliness.

You will coach team members in real time, manage staffing, monitor SOS performance, and maintain food safety and sanitation practices across the front and back of house.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or shift leadership experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage restaurant operations during assigned shifts as MOD.
• Deploy team members across kitchen and front of house.
• Drive execution during peak and non-peak hours.
• Monitor ticket times, order flow, and Speed of Service performance.
• Adjust staffing and manage breaks based on business needs.
• Communicate clear goals and expectations to the team each shift.
• Ensure food is prepared and presented to brand standards.
• Maintain inventory, prep readiness, and product quality.
• Complete food safety checks and ensure compliance.
• Maintain sanitation across FOH and BOH and support equipment upkeep.
• Follow cash handling procedures and balance registers; complete shift documentation.
• Execute opening and closing procedures and assist deposits.
• Deliver fast, friendly service and resolve guest concerns.
