Job summary

El Pollo Loco in Corona, CA is seeking a Shift Leader to drive exceptional service and smooth operations on each shift. You will guide the team, manage opening/closing tasks, and ensure food safety and quality standards are met, delivering fire-grilled experiences that keep guests coming back.

You’ll train teammates, handle ordering and cash procedures, and support leadership in maintaining a clean, efficient restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ year of restaurant supervisory experience.
• Pass EPL Food Safety Audit (FSA) class after hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts and in the absence of management.
• Ensure exceptional customer experiences and adherence to company standards.
• Manage opening/closing procedures, inventory, food deliveries, and cash handling.
• Train and support team members on products and procedures.
• Monitor safety, cleanliness, and QSC standards.
• Greet customers and assist with orders in a friendly, helpful manner.
