Modern Market Eatery in Boulder, CO is seeking an experienced Shift Leader to grow in restaurant leadership. You will ensure shifts run smoothly, guest service standards are met, and you will lead on open kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires at least 6 months of shift-leader experience, excellent communication, and the ability to coordinate work across the team. We offer benefits, overtime eligibility, tip sharing, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of restaurant shift leader experience.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Food handlers and alcohol service training preferred.
• Ability to coordinate work and multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the cleanliness of the restaurant and delegate side work tasks.
• Continually monitor our food and food quality.
• Properly perform opening and closing procedures as the manager in charge of those shifts.
• Run the shift while ensuring breaks for all employees.
• Work all stations in the restaurant and know where you are most needed.
• Assist Manager with other duties as needed.
