Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced team on a per-shift basis. You will set the tone, coach staff, handle guest concerns with empathy, and ensure food safety and cleanliness standards are met. The role emphasizes accountability, teamwork, and delivering a positive guest experience.

You will train and supervise team members, manage cash handling and inventory, and act as a key point of contact during shifts to maintain smooth store operations and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (in progress or completed).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain required permits (food handlers, alcohol server, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Supervise store operations on designated shifts.
• Rings up guests on a cash register.
• Stock shelves and inventory, and ensure store cleanliness.
• Greet guests and suggest products to enhance guest experience.
• Lead and develop store team members on shift.
