Job summary

RaceTrac, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced team, drive guest satisfaction, and ensure smooth store operations. You’ll coach staff, manage inventory and cash handling, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards.

This role offers leadership growth through hands-on training and internal advancement. Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in retail/food service with at least 1 year of supervisory experience, strong communication, and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of work experience in retail, restaurant, or food service.
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume guest-focused environments.
• Ability to coach others and follow through on tasks.
• Strong communication and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Set the tone with a cheerful, can-do attitude to motivate the team.
• Provide direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real-time with guidance and support.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Train and guide the team to meet guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee inventory, vendor check-in, and promotional communication.
• Lead shift-change communication and ensure team alignment.
• Relay updates from leadership to shift associates.
• Drive accountability, respect, and teamwork.
