Job summary

Firehouse Subs - NC SC is seeking a Shift Leader to help run daily restaurant operations on scheduled shifts. The role emphasizes customer experience, leadership of team members, and adherence to company policies while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The position can be part-time or full-time, with opportunities for advancement and benefits. The ideal candidate will manage shift tasks, assist the General Manager, and ensure profitability through efficient labor and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Ability to use computer and register systems.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach and scoop through-out assigned shifts.
• Ability to be mobile in walk-in freezer/cooler with temperatures ranging from 40° F to -10° F.

Responsibilities

• Reports to: General Manager.
• Fully accountable for profitable operation of a specific shift.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations including health, wage, age restrictions and ADA.
• Enforce company policies and procedures.
• Ensure shifts run within guidelines for food cost, labor, controllables, utilities and sales growth.
• Provide leadership to achieve superior guest service, quality and cleanliness.
• Assist GM with operations game plans and initiatives.
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, training and disciplining staff.
• Complete required reports and documents on schedule.
• Represent Firehouse Subs professionally at all times.
• Communicate issues to GM/Owner.
• Able to work up to 13 hours on feet and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Other duties as assigned by GM/Owner.
