Job summary

BURGER KING in Gardnerville, NV is seeking an Hourly Shift Coordinator to lead a restaurant shift, drive sales and profitability, and ensure top guest service.

You will support the RGM and AM, manage a team of Team Members, and uphold brand standards across operations. The role emphasizes staffing, training, speed of service, and daily execution to deliver consistent dining experiences.

Qualifications

• Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required, 2 years of college preferred.
• 1-2 years of previous quick service restaurant experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of guest service principles.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed, for proper functioning of the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• The HSC supports the RGM and AM in managing operations during assigned shifts, driving sales and guest service.
• Directly managers a shift of Team Members.
• Follows cash control and security procedures (e.g. safe counting, cash drawers).
• Maintains inventory by performing daily and weekly inventory inspections and receives inventory truck orders.
• Motivates and directs Team Members to exceed guest expectations with accurate, fast, and friendly service.
• Sets an example by implementing shift plan and driving operational results; ensures timely preparation and sale of products.
