Job summary

Donatos Pizza is seeking a Shift Manager in Louisiana to lead Quality and Services in the restaurant. You will coach and train Associates to deliver high-quality food and friendly, honest service, while handling shift openings/closings and administrative duties.

You will monitor food safety, labor costs, and inventory, ensuring adherence to Donatos standards and local health regulations, while building a positive team environment for Guests and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform essential functions safely while meeting productivity standards.
• Able to stand and/or walk entire shift; able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• 1 year experience as Shift Lead or Manager or Donatos equivalent experience.
• Successful completion of Donatos MIT Program and all corresponding certifications, Shift Manager E-learning modules, and food safe handler’s courses.
• Ability to execute all items on the Shift Manager readiness checklist.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with and listens to customers attentively and enthusiastically.
• Anticipates the needs of customers at all access points and removes service barriers.
• Displays caring and empathy for customers and follows steps when resolving complaints.
• Ensures the team delivers all elements of Donatos Service Behaviors.
• Trains new Associates to execute Donatos standards and processes in their roles.
• Ensures orders are accurate and delivered within promised times.
• Manages shift execution, pre/post-shift checklists, game plans, and dough plans.
• Coaches on People, Promise and Prosperity for a positive environment and proper staffing.
• Models performance standards with leadership and direct coaching responsibilities.
• Takes ownership for product quality, service, and prosperity during shifts.
• Manages food, labor, and costs through training and coaching.
• Controls food cost components of waste, prep, weights, and theft during shifts.
• Enforces safety, cleanliness, and labor law education for Associates.
• Opens and/or closes the restaurant with proper administrative procedures.
