Job summary

Benchmark Electronics Inc in Winona, Minnesota, is seeking a shift-based manufacturing team member in a safety-sensitive role to support 24/7 operations. You will follow work instructions, monitor quality, and contribute to improvements while mentoring teammates.

Under supervision, you will help achieve schedule goals, train new staff, and ensure adherence to procedures, quality standards, and safety rules for daily production.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent; 2+ years of electronics manufacturing and some leadership experience; Contract manufacturing preferred.
0-3 years of experience mentoring others.
Knowledgeable in processes to fully support a shift without additional support.
Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats.
Ability to mentor employees and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Identify workmanship and material defects by sight.
Ensure team follows work instructions, drawings and customer specifications.
Respond to written and verbal direction and monitor performance.
Lead by example and support management objectives and BEI policies.
Act as backup for the Supervisor as needed and ensure quality meets customer expectations.
