Job summary

Benchmark in Minnesota is seeking a shift supervisor to ensure tasks are performed per work instructions to manufacture products that meet quality goals and schedules. You may assist the supervisor in training new employees in the area.

You will mentor staff, drive continuous improvement, and support BEI policies while ensuring safety and meeting customer needs on a 4th shift with potential 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in electronics manufacturing and some leadership experience.
• 0-3 years mentoring others.
• Knowledgeable in continuous improvement tools and approaches.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math; communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• May identify workmanship and material defects by sight.
• Ensure tasks follow work instructions and customer specifications.
• Mentor team members and facilitate shift overlap.
• Communicate issues to the supervisor promptly.
• Monitor performance and quality; provide feedback.
• Drive continuous improvement and problem-solving within the shift.
• Lead by example and support management objectives and BEI policies.
• Act as backup for the Supervisor as needed.
• Ensure quality and safety to meet customer satisfaction.
