Job summary

Carl's Jr. is seeking a Shift Leader to support daily operations and help maximize sales while maintaining guest satisfaction at our Whittier location. The role emphasizes leadership, team supervision, and adherence to POS and cash handling procedures.

Ideal candidates will be 18+, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Cross-training across restaurant positions is encouraged to support a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift/move up to 40 lbs.
• Stand for long periods; bend and stoop as needed.
• Occasionally work in walk-in coolers/freezers.
• Vision for distance, color and depth; eye focus adjustments.
• Operate a computer and/or cash register.
• Work around heat and clean with various products.
• Willing to cross-train on different positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality product and guest service delivering total guest satisfaction.
• Foster trust and effective communication across the team.
• Plan, organize and implement daily operations and paperwork.
• Supervise opening/closing tasks as directed by Management.
• Support goals and directives of Restaurant Management.
• Follow POS and cash handling procedures.
• Resolve guest questions, complaints and problems quickly with management involvement.
• Delegate shift responsibilities and drive team performance.
