Whataburger is seeking a Shift Leader to drive operations, coach Team Members, and keep shifts running smoothly. You’ll lead shift management, uphold quality and service, and help new hires grow.

Based in your home restaurant in Dallas, you’ll collaborate with the Restaurant Manager, participate in training, and advance through a clear path to leadership. Whataburger offers competitive weekly pay, benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma preferred or equivalent experience.
• Able to work overnights, weekends, holidays, variable hours.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 55 lbs.
• Experience coaching or leading teams; strong customer service and communication skills.
• ServSafe Food Certification (or willingness to obtain during training).

Responsibilities

• Lead shift management to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Coach, train, and motivate Family Members to onboard and perform.
• Support goals related to food cost, labor cost, sales performance, and basic inventory.
• Uphold food safety, workplace safety, sanitation, and compliance requirements.
• Foster teamwork, communication, accountability, and a positive work culture.
• Prepare, lead, and transition shift operations to keep the restaurant running smoothly.
