Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Part‑time: 9 to 28 hours per week; Full‑time: 32 to 40 hours per week.
• Successful completion of background check.
• Leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others.
• Follows company standards and local laws with regards to employee time punches.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Technological savvy; knowledge of required company software and tools.
• Strong problem‑solving skills; ability to multi‑task and manage time effectively.
• Conflict resolution skills; sound judgments aligned with company values.

Responsibilities

• Complete all training requirements including Zaxbys Shift Leader Development Plan and Food Safety Certification.
• Create a culture of high performance and coach team members to meet company standards.
• Mentor and develop staff and communicate performance concerns to the GM.
• Prioritize guest and team member experience and resolve complaints in a friendly manner.
• Maintain operational standards and ensure compliance with guidelines and procedures.
• Manage shift goals, delegate tasks, and supervise performance during a shift.
• Ensure product quality, service, cleanliness and inventory as per standards.
• Plan shift duties and ensure opening and closing tasks are complete.
• Collaborate with management to develop goals and report progress.
