Job summary

Insomniacookies Spokane is seeking a Shift Leader to orchestrate bakery operations and lead a night-owl crew. You’ll supervise the cookie crew, ensure top notch customer service, and keep production flowing during your shift.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in customer service, POS familiarity, strong communication and leadership skills, and physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs. This is a part-time on-site role with growth opportunities and fun team culture.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Point of Sale systems experience.
• Strong communication, time management and people skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and quality products to guests.
• Support store leadership by maintaining shift operations and training teammates.
• Lead baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning tasks with the cookie crew.
• Collaborate with the Cookie Crew to ensure smooth shift operations.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and uphold food safety standards.
• Manage cash handling and deposits.

As a Shift Leader at our Spokane, WA store located at 922 N Division St., you are the captain of our bakery day or night! Responsibilities

• Provide incredible customer service and quality products to all of our guests throughout their experience within our bakeries.
• Support store leadership by maintaining operations during your shift, communicating pertinent information, monitoring production efficiency, holding the team accountable to company standards and procedures, and assisting in the training and coaching of team members.
• Prioritize and delegate tasks for baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning while leading the cookie crew team.
• Support and work alongside the Cookie Crew.
• Provide a safe, clean, working environment for our guests and staff and adhere to safe food handling practices.
• Manage cash handling and deposits.
