Job summary

Big Blue Swim School is seeking a Shift Leader to support daily operations at our Sandy Plains/Marietta location. You will assist management, oversee safety and service standards, and help create a positive experience for families and team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist managers in daily shift operations for instructors, deck support, and front desk teams.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and reinforce safety, teaching standards, professionalism, and customer service expectations.
• Step into swim instruction, deck support, or front desk responsibilities when needed.
• Monitor pool deck safety, swimmer evaluations, lesson flow, and facility readiness.
• Perform opening/closing procedures, water testing, chemical checks, and operational documentation.
• Ensure the facility remains clean, organized, and guest-ready.
• Support a positive experience for families and swimmers by maintaining operational flow.
• Respond to emergencies and uphold all safety and operational standards.
• Ensure staff are where they need to be and support the overall daily experience.
