Responsibilities:

• Oversee crew members in the absence of the General or Assistant Manager, coaching, directing, recognizing outstanding performance, and setting priorities during shifts.
• Train crew members on policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with food safety, security, quality, and cleanliness standards.
• Manage opening and/or closing of the restaurant.
• Create and ensure a superior guest experience.
• Contribute to achieving cost and profit goals.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience: Certified on all EPL SPECS positions as an EPL Crewmember or at least 1 year of restaurant supervisory experience.
• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; must pass the EPL Food Safety Audit (FSA) class upon hire.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal English skills; second language is a plus.
• Skills: Basic math and computer skills, strong customer service skills.
• Food Safety: Serve Safe Certificate required at hire or to be obtained upon hiring.
• Work Hours: Full-time hours with potential overtime.
• Career Growth: Opportunities to advance from Shift Leader to Assistant Manager, General Manager, Area Leader, and beyond.
• Attire: EPL logo’d shirt provided, black slacks, and no-slip shoes required.
