Qualifications

As a Shift Leader at our Indianapolis store located at 917 Indiana Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46202, you are the captain of our bakery day or night! You understand what it takes to “Own the Night” by predicting the flow of business during a successful shift. Your hands-on leadership should include building orders, suggestive selling, baking, and interacting with customers. It also means taking pride in knowing that your leadership as an Insomniac contributes to a productive and enjoyable night for your store!

WHAT WILL I DO AS A SHIFT LEADER?

• Provide excellent customer service and quality products to all guests
• Support store leadership by maintaining operations during your shift, communicating relevant information, monitoring production efficiency, and coaching team members
• Prioritize and delegate tasks related to baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning while leading the Cookie Crew
• Support and work alongside the Cookie Crew
• Ensure a safe, clean environment for guests and staff, following safe food handling practices
• Manage cash handling and deposits

DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• At least 1 year of customer service experience
• Experience with Point of Sale systems
• Strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
• Outgoing, friendly, and patient
• Detail-oriented and results-driven
• Ability to lead by example and motivate others
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must be 18 or older to be employed
