A Shift Leader supports the management team in running the assigned location, including but not limited to:

• Coaching staff to deliver exceptional customer service
• Producing high-quality food
• Delivering the Jersey Mike's experience
• Cash handling
• Following the Learning Management System Training Program
• Developing others for career growth
• Enforcing policies and procedures
• Participating in marketing initiatives
• Building sales
• Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation
• Being certified in all four restaurant positions
• Effective communication
• Sense of urgency

The role also requires:

• Moving or transporting up to 50 lbs without assistance, unless covered by ADA or a medical note
• Working 38-40 hours per week
• Reliable transportation
• Leading by example in food quality, customer interaction, and appearance
• Creating food consistent with Jersey Mike's standards
• Maintaining a clean restaurant environment
• Working in a fast-paced, team-driven atmosphere
• Multitasking and working with urgency
• Interacting with customers to provide an exceptional experience
• Understanding accountability and integrity
• Key holding responsibilities
• Performing opening and closing tasks
• Baking bread and prep work
• Managing and leading a crew of 2-5 people
• Proficient slicing skills

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Reliable transportation
