Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is hiring a Shift Leader for our Fargo store at 412 Broadway N, Fargo, ND. You will lead a bakery shift, drive sales through suggestive selling, baking, and great customer service while ensuring smooth operations and team accountability.

Responsibilities include supervising the crew, delegating tasks for baking and cashiering, and maintaining a safe, clean environment. Must be 18+, US‑eligible, with at least one year in customer service and POS experience.

Qualifications

• One year of customer service experience or equivalent.
• Point of Sale (POS) systems experience required.
• Strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Outgoing, friendly, patient demeanor with customers and team.
• Detail oriented with a results‑driven approach.
• Ability to lead by example and motivate others.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be 18 years or older to be employed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and quality products to guests during shifts.
• Support store leadership by maintaining operations, communicating updates, and ensuring adherence to standards.
• Lead tasks for baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning; supervise the Cookie Crew.
• Collaborate with the Cookie Crew and store team.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow safe food handling practices.
• Manage cash handling and deposits.

As a Shift Leader at our Fargo store located at 412 Broadway N, Fargo ND 58102, you are the captain of our bakery day or night! You understand what it takes to “Own the Night” (and beyond), by predicting the flow of business during a successful shift. Responsibilities

• Provide incredible customer service and quality products to all of our guests throughout their experience within our bakeries.
• Support store leadership by maintaining operations during your shift, communicating pertinent information, monitoring production efficiency, holding the team accountable to company standards and procedures, and assisting in the training and coaching of team members.
• Prioritize and delegate tasks for baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning while leading the cookie crew team.
• Support and work alongside the Cookie Crew.
• Provide a safe, clean, working environment for our guests and staff and adhere to safe food handling practices.
• Manage cash handling and deposits.
