Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is seeking a Shift Leader for our UoSA store at 5753 Old Shell Road, Mobile, AL. You’ll captain the shift, lead the cookie crew, handle cash, and ensure top-notch service and quality products for guests.

The role emphasizes leadership, training, and teamwork in a fast-paced bakery environment, with opportunities for growth and a fun, supportive team.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Point of Sales systems experience.
• Excellent communication, time management and people skills.
• Outgoing, friendly, and patient demeanor.
• Detail oriented and results-driven.
• Ability to lead by example and motivate others.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be 18 years or older to be employed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and quality products to all guests.
• Support store leadership by maintaining operations during shifts and coaching teammates.
• Prioritize and delegate tasks for baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning.
• Lead the cookie crew and work with the Cookie Crew.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow food safety practices.
• Manage cash handling and deposits.

As a Shift Leader at our UoSA store located at 5753 Old Shell Road, Mobile AL 36608, you are the captain of our bakery day or night! You understand what it takes to "Own the Night" (and beyond), by predicting the flow of business during a successful shift. Responsibilities

• Provide incredible customer service and quality products to all of our guests throughout their experience within our bakeries
• Support store leadership by maintaining operations during your shift, communicating pertinent information, monitoring production efficiency, holding the team accountable to company standards and procedures, and assisting in the training and coaching of team members
• Prioritize and delegate tasks for baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning while leading the cookie crew team
• Support and work alongside the Cookie Crew
• Provide a safe, clean, working environment for our guests and staff and adhere to safe food handling practices
• Manage cash handling and deposits
