This entry-level management position assists the management team by ensuring total guest dining satisfaction. The primary role of the Shift Leader is to ensure hospitality excellence by managing, coaching, and delegating to employees to ensure the timely delivery of top-quality food, friendly and welcoming behaviors, and maintenance of high cleanliness and sanitation standards.

Shift Leader Responsibilities

• Protects the cash assets of the restaurant during each shift, including counting and verifying the safe and cash drawers, completing bank deposit slips, and maintaining the safe log.
• Works with the Executive General Manager and Assistant Managers to achieve maximum sales and profits while maintaining operational standards.
• Enforces all company policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring compliance with all laws regarding wages, hours, and sanitation, and completes all required documentation.
• Implements advertising and promotions coordinated by the Marketing Department, ensuring proper food preparation and presentation.
• Maintains safety and sanitation standards in the restaurant.
• Assists in employee training to ensure proper onboarding and development.
• Supports the management team to achieve guest satisfaction.
• Maintains a professional appearance and adheres to uniform standards.
