Shift Leader

The Shift Leader supervises shifts and/or work areas in the operation of a Papa John’s restaurant to ensure high-quality products and customer service, contributing to restaurant profitability. Responsibilities include managing operations, executing all Company policies, procedures, programs, and systems, and ensuring compliance with all laws and ethical practices.

Responsibilities
  • Adheres to guidelines and expectations for each station, including dough management, accuracy, and proper portioning. Performs duties such as making quality products, following all preparation procedures, and maintaining product holding times. Contributes to achieving the Company’s product goal, minimizes customer complaints, and responds appropriately to customer needs. Follows all policies and procedures outlined in the TM handbook, including image, attendance, safety, and security.
  • Exemplifies and exhibits the Core Values, maintains a positive attitude, works well with others, and is flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Ensures adequate shift coverage, provides immediate feedback, maintains product quality, customer service, and performance responsibilities such as MCE readiness, food/labor costs, and restaurant cleanliness. Follows all policies related to shift management.
  • Contributes to profit goals by ensuring they stay within company guidelines and target goals, accurately utilizing the FOCUS System. Executes cash management duties and assists in managing inventory levels to minimize loss.
Key Ingredients

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
