A Shift Leader supports the management team in running the location efficiently. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Coaching staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
2. Ensuring high-quality food production.
3. Delivering the Jersey Mike's experience.
4. Cash handling and register operations.
5. Following the Learning Management System Training Program.
6. Developing team members for career growth.
7. Enforcing policies and procedures.
8. Participating in marketing initiatives.
9. Building sales.
10. Maintaining cleanliness and proper sanitation.
11. Being certified in all four restaurant positions.
12. Effective communication.
13. Demonstrating a sense of urgency.

Additional expectations include:

1. Moving or transporting up to 50 lbs without assistance, with accommodations for disabilities.
2. Working 38-40 hours per week.
3. Reliable transportation to and from work.
4. Communicating issues to the GM/AGM/DM.
5. Leading by example in food quality, customer interaction, and appearance.
6. Creating food consistent with Jersey Mike's standards.
7. Maintaining a noticeably cleaner restaurant environment.
8. Thriving in a fast-paced, team-driven atmosphere.
9. Multitasking with a sense of urgency.
10. Providing an exceptional customer experience.
11. Understanding accountability and integrity.
12. Serving as a Key Holder.
13. Performing opening and closing tasks.
14. Baking bread and prepping ingredients.
15. Managing and leading a crew of 2-5 people.
16. Proficient in slicing.

Qualifications include:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Preferred 1 year of QSR experience.
3. Must be 18 or older to operate the slicer.
4. Serve Safe Food Handler Certification.
5. Reliable transportation.
