Position: Shift Leader

Location: 1309 H St NE, Washington DC 20002

As a Shift Leader at our H Street neighborhood store, you are the captain of our bakery during your shift! You understand what it takes to “Own the Night” by predicting the flow of business and leading your team effectively. Your hands-on leadership should include building orders, suggestive selling, baking, and customer interaction. Pride in your role as a leader will contribute to a productive and enjoyable night for your store!

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and quality products
• Support store operations during your shift, including communication, monitoring efficiency, and team training
• Delegate tasks such as baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning, leading the Cookie Crew
• Ensure a safe, clean environment adhering to food safety standards
• Manage cash handling and deposits

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of customer service experience
• Experience with Point of Sale systems
• Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
• Outgoing, friendly, and patient
• Detail-oriented and results-driven
• Leadership ability to motivate others
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must be 18 or older
