Job summary

Chick-fil-A is seeking a Team Leader to support senior leadership in daily restaurant operations and hold team members accountable for Operational Excellence. You will lead by example, open/close shifts, and help ensure a positive, service-focused environment.

You will coach and develop teammates, communicate effectively, and maintain a friendly, energetic atmosphere while upholding Chick-fil-A’s culture and values.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transportation to commute.
• Prior experience as shift lead or supervisor is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in day-to-day, high-volume restaurant operations.
• Respond promptly and respectfully to guests' needs.
• Assist in training new hires and set the shift tone as a role model.

Our Shift Leaders are responsible for supporting senior leadership in executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service. A Shift Leader’s two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing team members. Shift Leaders lead by example and set the tone that others will follow.

Team Leader Responsibilities:

• Participating operationally in day-to-day activities in high-volume, fast-paced Restaurant
• Offer immediate and respectful response to Guest's needs
• Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team
• Be a friendly, encouraging team player
• Open and/or close, lead shifts, key holder
• Count drawers and finalize day
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
