Job summary

Workstream is seeking a Shift Leader to support senior leadership in daily restaurant operations and guest service at a Chick-fil-A franchise. You will lead by example, coach team members, and help ensure smooth shifts in a fast-paced setting.

You will open/close, count drawers, and train new hires while maintaining brand standards and a focus on safety. A friendly, energetic attitude and reliable transportation are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and guest service skills.

• Prior experience as shift lead is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support senior leadership in executing daily operations and maintaining Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service.
• Complete tasks to ensure the restaurant runs effectively and efficiently.
• Coach and develop team members, lead by example, and set the tone for the shift.
• Open and/or close, lead shifts, and act as a key holder.
• Count drawers and finalize day; ensure accurate end-of-day procedures.

They have a passion for people and serving others, have strong character, take initiative and work with a sense of urgency at all times. Our Team Leaders are responsible for supporting senior leadership in executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service. A Shift Leader’s two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing team members. Shift Leaders lead by example and set the tone that others will follow.
