A Shift Leader is one who consistently demonstrates our core values, embraces the Chick-fil-A culture and has a servant's heart. Our Shift Leaders are responsible for supporting senior leadership in executing daily operations and holding Team Members accountable for each component of Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service. A Shift Leader's two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing Team Members. Shift Leaders lead by example and set the tone that others will follow.

Shift Leader Responsibilities:

• Participate operationally in day-to-day activities in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant
• Hold Team Members accountable to performance goals and policies
• Offer immediate and respectful response to guest's needs or concerns
• Assist our Trainers in the training of new hires
• Set the tone for a shift and lead by example
• Be a friendly, encouraging team player that allows others to succeed
• Open and/or close, lead shifts, key holder
• Count drawers and finalize the day
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
