Job summary

The Jel Sert Company is seeking leads for multiple production departments in a fast-paced facility. Shifts include 3rd and 1st/2nd/3rd across Warehouse, Powder, and Receiving, with overtime as needed. The role focuses on supervising, safety, quality, and filling in as relief when required.

Major duties include directing staff, ensuring materials are available, training new hires, and maintaining timely start-up and break coverage. Fluency in English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Good motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Effective communication with all levels; bilingual English/Spanish helpful.
• Basic math skills and ability to identify quality problems.
• Leadership capabilities and ability to train staff.
• Proficiency across department positions.

Responsibilities

• Must follow Jel Sert safety procedures, GMP requirements, and work instructions
• Direct the workforce and ensure product quality and work standards are being fulfilled.
• Supply workers with necessary materials and ensure correct materials are present.
• Training of existing staff and new employees.
• Ensure employees are in position on time after breaks and lunch, and at start-up.
• Relieve staff as necessary.
• Identify safety and quality issues.
• Perform other work as required.
