• Enforce OSHA safety rules, ISO procedures, and company policies.
• Identify process bottlenecks, implement improvements, and enhance efficiency.
• Maintain shipping supplies inventory and requisition as needed.
• Maintain equipment in good working order and schedule maintenance.
• Participate in department meetings and report on performance metrics.

• SCHEDULE: Day Shift: Mon-Thu, 7am-5:30pm; Night Shift: Tue-Fri, 7pm-5:30am; Weekend Shift: Fri-Sun, 6am-6:30pm

The JobSquad Solutions Team is currently looking for a Working Leads to work at a company located in the Pittston, PA area!

Looking for working leads and back up leads for all shifts. Day Shift Monday-Thursday 7am-5:30pm, Night Shift Tuesday-Friday from 7pm-5:30am and Weekend Shift Friday-Sunday from 6am-6:30pm. Pay Rate is $20 for back up lead and $21.00 for lead

Role Overview

The Warehouse Distribution Lead is responsible for coordinating all warehouse activities to meet customer service, profitability, quality, and safety standards. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines supervisory duties with direct operational tasks.

Responsibilities

• Key Responsibilities
• Team Leadership & Supervision
• Direct and oversee warehouse staff in shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order picking.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, provide training, and foster a positive, collaborative work environment.
• Safety & Compliance
• Enforce OSHA safety rules, ISO procedures, and company policies.
• Conduct safety inspections, ensure proper equipment use, and report incidents.
• Accident reporting - Can partner with either Shannon Frye or Erica Rosario if unsure how to proceed with this. Must be communicated to clients and Jobsquad immediately.
• HR related issues - Immediately contact Shannon Frye or Erica Rosario in the absents of Onsite Supervisor for direction. All issues must be addressed, documented and communicated immediately. HR related issues are highly confidential and must not be discussed with anyone unless they are a witness to the issue.
• Facility & Equipment Maintenance
• Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and optimized for space use.
• Maintain shipping supplies inventory and requisition as needed.
• Ensure equipment is in good working order and scheduled for maintenance.
• Continuous Improvement
• Identify process bottlenecks, implement improvements, and enhance efficiency.
• Participate in department meetings and report on performance metrics

• Certifications: OSHA safety training; forklift certification if applicable.
• Work Environment
• The role is typically hands-on, physically demanding, and requires being on the floor alongside the team. It may involve lifting up to 70 lbs. on a regular basis, moving goods, and operating equipment, with a focus on both leadership and operational execution.
