Job summary

Jel Sert Company is seeking an Assistant Shipping Supervisor in Illinois to Lead shipping operations, assign tasks, and ensure orders are loaded per schedule. The role requires coordinating with maintenance and production while maintaining safety and efficiency across the warehouse.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of supervisory experience, knowledge of transportation and warehouse operations, and bilingual English/Spanish abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of the transportation industry and warehouse operations.
• Bilingual English and Spanish is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Assign and track job tasks to ensure orders are picked up and loaded as scheduled.
• Evaluate loading, receiving, and storage issues and determine corrective action.
• Develop solutions to meet departmental goals and supervise shifts as needed.
• Complete required paperwork and coordinate upcoming work assignments.
• Ensure equipment maintenance and safety training across the department.
