Job summary

Nando's PERi-PERi North America is seeking a Shift Lead / Supervisor to energize the team and elevate guest service. You may rotate into different roles (Griller or Cashier) and act as a coach to Nandocas, driving service with strong time management and energy.

You’ll wear multiple hats and strive to improve every day. The role emphasizes leadership, guest relations, and ensuring safety and quality across shifts, with opportunities for advancement and ongoing training provided by the restaurant

Qualifications

• Onsite Shift Lead training provided at one of our Nando's locations.
• Fluent in verbal and written English communication.
• Background check required.
• Food handler and alcohol serving license as needed by jurisdiction.
• Strong communication skills to resolve guest and Nando’s team situations.

Responsibilities

• Lead peers by communicating respectfully and proactively with the team.
• Oversee shifts to meet food safety and service standards.
• Manage cash handling, deposits, and point-of-sale procedures.
• Conclude shifts with thorough changeovers and handoffs to the next manager.
• Complete opening, in-shift and closing duties including prep, inventory, and end-of-day reports.
