Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, refunds, cash drops, and provides change at registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive customer experience.
• Engages customers and patients, greets and assists with products and services, and resolves issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Shares customer service best practices with team members to deliver a distinctive Walgreens experience.
• Holds store keys to open/close without management when needed.
• Coaches team members on vendor ordering processes and backdoor deliveries.
• Registers all sales accurately and documents scanning errors and price verifications.
• Supports order release day in reviewing exceptions and reverse logistics.
• Assists in evaluating displays, resets, and promotional merchandising.
• Maintains inventory accuracy across departments, stockroom, and overstock.
• Ensures pricing accuracy and proper signage, complying with local regulations.
• Performs bookkeeping tasks such as cash reports and ledgers as needed.
• Maintains store cleanliness and appearance, coordinates repairs with management absent.
• Supports food item separation and shelf rotation using FIFO.
• Has working knowledge of store systems and equipment.
• Assists at Pharmacy out window when requested.
• Ensures compliance with state laws on regulated products.
• Completes bag checks and adheres to company policies.
• Participates in special assignments as directed.
