Job summary

Walgreens Co. in New Orleans, LA is seeking a reliable team member to support store operations and customer service. This role covers opening/closing the store in the absence of management, handling cash, assisting with deliveries, pricing, inventory, and basic housekeeping to maintain a welcoming retail environment.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.
• We will consider employment of qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of store management, with start-ups and cash handling.
• Handle returns, refunds, cash drops, and provide change as requested to cash registers.
• Ensure floor and stock room are ready for the day and open back door for deliveries.
• Assist with and coach team members in inventory, pricing, and display updates; maintain backroom organization.
• Assist with bookkeeping activities and cash handling as needed.
