Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee, Inc. seeks an on‑shift Key Holder to lead store operations, ensure a clean and welcoming environment, and support donor flow and POS transactions. You will coach staff, reinforce shop standards, and help maintain merchandising and safety throughout the shift.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and readiness to open/close the store. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is typical to support daily operations.

Qualifications

• Two years of supervisory or lead experience in retail, warehouse, or logistics.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to guide and provide feedback.
• Ability to learn and apply established processes, systems, and SOPs.
• Experience with POS transactions and customer service during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-shift operations and store readiness during assigned shifts.
• Guide associates and support smooth shift execution.
• Assist with POS transactions and customer flow while maintaining service standards.
• Maintain signage, pricing accuracy, and product presentation.
• Open and close routines; train and coach new staff as needed.
