Job summary

CloudKitchens is hiring an Assistant Kitchen Manager to lead the shift, ensure seamless prep, and uphold operational standards in our automated kitchen. You will bridge software-guided operations with hands-on leadership, ensuring food quality, safety, and inventory accuracy across proteins, vegetables, and sauces prepared for our robotic systems.

You will coach and develop the team, enforce SOPs, and manage sanitation and robot maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading kitchen teams and shifts.
• Attention to portioning, weighing ingredients, and waste tracking.
• Ability to follow software-guided SOPs and adapt to tech-driven protocols.
• Proven capability to coach teams and uphold food safety standards.
• Comfort working in an automated kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the shift end-to-end, executing recipes for proteins, vegetables, and sauces per software SOPs.
• Perform per-shift quality checks and log results to prevent drift in quality.
• Manage sanitation with nightly cleaning protocols and robot components cleaning.
• Coach staff, shadow new hires, and lead certifications.
• Operate kitchen tech and troubleshoot robot interaction; load hoppers, etc.
• Conduct end-of-week inventory counts to identify reordering needs.
