Leslie's is seeking a Shift Lead 1 to support store performance, uphold customer service standards, sales plans, profitability and merchandising objectives. You will train and develop a team, lead by example, and learn best practices to drive results.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience leading a team preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to complete required training within two months of hire.
• Retail experience: 1 year external or 6 months in internal lead role with testing completed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the General Manager to learn store operations, sales plans, and expenses (P&L).
• Conduct water analysis and perform mechanical repairs.
• Increase commercial and residential sales and customer counts.
• Ensure the team follows all safety protocols.
• Identify new talent to join the team.
• Maintain a clean, well merchandised, and welcoming environment.
• Assist with merchandising and inventory control.
• Open and close store; may include daily bank deposits.
