Job summary

Leslie's Poolmart Inc. is seeking a Shift Lead 1 to support store performance, customer service, and merchandising objectives. You will learn best practices, train team members, and lead by example to meet sales plans and profitability targets.

The role involves water analysis, repairs, and opening/closing duties, with a pay range of $18.24–$20.24 per hour. A high school diploma and leadership experience are preferred, along with a valid driver’s license and strong computer skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age and a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience leading a team is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficiency with computers and basic training on internal systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the General Manager to learn store operations, sales plans, payroll and expenses.
• Conduct water analysis and mechanical repairs.
• Increase commercial and residential sales and customer counts.
• Ensure the team follows all safety protocols.
• Identify and recruit new talent for the team.
• Maintain a clean, well merchandised, and welcoming store environment.
• Assist with merchandising and inventory control.
• Open and close store responsibilities including daily bank deposit.
