Job summary

Leslie’s Poolmart Inc. is seeking a Shift Lead 1 to help drive store performance, deliver outstanding customer service, and execute merchandising strategies. You will learn best practices to train and develop a team while leading by example.

Responsibilities include assisting with store operations, safety, inventory, and opening/closing duties, with potential for growth within the company. This role requires strong communication, a valid driver’s license, and at least 1 year of retail experience

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience leading a team (preferred).
A valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
Proficiency with computers.
Ability to complete required training within two months of hire.
Minimum of one year of retail experience (external) or proven track record as a Lead for at least 6 months with successful testing.
New hires with managerial experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the General Manager to learn store operations, sales plans, and expenses.
Conduct water analysis and mechanical repairs.
Increase commercial and residential sales and customer counts.
Ensure the team follows safety protocols.
Identify new talent to join the team.
Maintain a clean, well merchandised, welcoming environment.
Assist with merchandising and inventory control.
Open and close the store, including daily bank deposit responsibilities.
