Job summary

Walgreens Co. in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Store Lead to open and close the store when management is unavailable, manage start-up systems and cash handling, and ensure floor and stock room readiness.

You will engage customers, resolve issues, assist with vendor deliveries, inventory controls, pricing, merchandising, and basic bookkeeping tasks. Strong English communication and 1 year of leadership in retail are required.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of management, including cash handling and start-ups.
• Process returns, refunds, cash drops, and provide change to registers.
• Model and deliver a distinctive customer experience.
• Coach other team members on vendor ordering, pricing, and displays.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and pricing signage.
• Assist with maintenance, store cleanliness, and backdoor deliveries.
• Serve as liaison when management isn’t present; communicate tasks to staff.
• Attend training and complete tasks as requested by Manager.
