Niagara Bottling is hiring a Production Operator Lead to support the Production Supervisor on a 12-hour shift, rotating 2-2-3 schedule. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and meeting throughput goals on the production floor.

You will coordinate with teams, verify materials, and ensure compliance with GMP and food safety standards. Responsibilities include changeovers, material inspection, and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: Associate's Degree.
• Experience shows strong leadership in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience may include a combination of work experience and education.

Responsibilities

• Assist Production Supervisor with daily shift activities ensuring safety, quality, and throughput.
• Communicate shift challenges and opportunities to prepare for the next shift.
• Conduct shift walkthroughs to verify safety, housekeeping, and quality compliance.
• Assist with batching minerals and preparing lines for changeovers.
• Order and inspect raw materials before changeovers for correct inventories.
• Perform first pass quality checks after changeovers.
• Verify jobs in Oracle and Warehouse/Line systems.
• Support hourly or end-of-shift production reports.
• Use Efficiency Improvement Tools to analyze downtime and communicate findings.
