Job summary

Dairy Queen is seeking an experienced assistant manager/shift lead to run a high-volume store with attention to detail. The role supports the GM in operations, inventory, and staffing, while driving quality, service and value for guests.

You will lead training, manage scheduling, and uphold health and safety standards. A $500 signing bonus is available after interview attendance, reflecting the fast-paced, guest-focused environment of Dairy Queen.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of high volume restaurant leadership experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven track record of effectively managing COGS and labor.
• Strong knowledge and application of safe food handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage entire operation of restaurant during scheduled shifts, ensuring quality, service and atmosphere.
• Train and supervise shift leads and crew on PRIDE systems and recipes; ensure day-to-day operations meet standards.
• Assist GM with sales strategies, inventory control, and staffing to reach goals.
• Address customer concerns promptly and ensure a positive guest experience.
• Maintain a positive working climate and mentor team members for efficiency.
