Job summary

BevMo! by Gopuff is seeking a part-time Key Holder to support Retail Operations in Turlock, CA. You will open/close the store, assist during busy periods, and train new staff while delivering outstanding customer service.

The role requires 1+ year leadership experience in retail and the ability to handle cash, operate POS systems, and lift up to 49 pounds. Flexible scheduling is a must, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1+ years leadership experience in retail, grocery, military, restaurant or equivalent
• Able to work fluid schedules; available during peak hours including nights, weekends, holidays
• Basic math skills and proficiency in cash handling
• Team-oriented mentality
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting and establishing rapport with customers while informing them of products and services
• Arrive early to open the store and leave late to close the store
• Assist the store in periods of high volume and provide support for new employees
• Knowledge of in-house products to provide customers with recommendations
• Assist with inventory management tasks such as restocking merchandise and conducting counts
• Process cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including opening/closing tills and deposits
• Operate scanners, cash registers and other electronics
• Follow proper age verification policies
• Ensure prices and quantities are accurate and provide receipts
• Process refunds and exchanges
• Monitor the sales floor to prevent theft and minimize loss
• Maintain store cleanliness and assist in housekeeping
• Train new employees on procedures and standards
