Job summary

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln is seeking a Chick-fil-A Shift Lead to join our dining services team. You will provide leadership and supervision to Team Members during your shift, ensuring a high-quality guest experience and adherence to food safety standards.

You will delegate duties, oversee front-of-house and back-of-house operations, train new staff, monitor inventory, and maintain presentation and product quality while delivering excellent customer service, including POS duties and cash

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED plus three years of food preparation experience.
Ability to read, write, weigh, and measure.
The ability to communicate is essential.
Food Handler’s permit or ability to obtain by passing the Safety and Sanitation test required.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise Team Members during shifts to deliver a high-quality guest experience.
Delegate shift duties and oversee front-end and back-of-house operations.
Ensure products and ingredients are stocked based on forecasting and maintain food safety standards.
Train new team members and monitor presentation, quality, and standards.
Provide excellent customer service, handle POS duties, and manage cash handling.
Support opening/closing procedures and inventory management.
