Job summary

University of Nebraska-Lincoln is hiring a Chick-fil-A Team Member in the Housing area to provide excellent guest service and support front-end and back-end operations. Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, cashier duties, food prep, stocking, inventory, and general cleaning.

Role involves training new staff, operating the POS, and maintaining safety and quality standards. This on-site position offers comprehensive benefits and requires a flexible team player attitude.

Qualifications

• High School education plus one year of experience in a work environment required; equivalency considered.
• Ability to read, write, weigh and measure necessary.
• Flexibility, ability to communicate and being a team player essential.
• Food Handler’s permit or ability to obtain by passing the Safety and Sanitation test required.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and push/pull up to 100lbs required.

Responsibilities

• Greeting all guests in a friendly manner.
• Accurately entering orders into the POS system.
• Cashier duties.
• Food preparation.
• Front end and kitchen stocking.
• Ingredient preparation.
• Inventory.
• Dish machine operation.
• Cleaning duties.
• Opening and closing procedures.
• Monitoring food quality and safety.
• Assists with training new staff as necessary.
• Operates the computer for some training, email, and other related tasks.
