Job summary

Caribou Coffee in Cambridge, MN is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee the coffeehouse in partnership with the GM/AGM. You’ll ensure brand standards, product quality, cleanliness, and guest connections during the shift.

You’ll lead the team, drive sales, manage tasks, train new members, and uphold safety while delivering a welcoming customer experience. This role rewards flexibility, reliability, and a positive, collaborative attitude.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of leadership experience or proper training to assume Shift Leader responsibilities.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Shift Leaders may be required to work different days, times, or shifts as business needs change.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts with commitment to Make Fun Happen, keep the team engaged and on track.
• Optimize product sales while managing waste and maintaining a clean, inviting environment.
• Communicate the deployment plan and floor roles to keep the shift moving.
• Delegate priorities and tasks to the team and ensure a smooth hand-off between shifts.
• Coach and train team members on role responsibilities, product knowledge, and promotions.
