Job summary

Chuze Fitness in Fontana, CA is seeking a Lead 1 to elevate the front desk experience and lead a team in delivering exceptional member service. You will mentor staff, oversee memberships, POS tasks, and daily operations while maintaining a welcoming gym environment.

This role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer care, with opportunities for growth and enhancing the member journey.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a front desk team and delivering excellent member service.
• Ability to train front desk staff and maintain policies and best practices.
• Capable of managing daily shift operations, including sign-ups and POS tasks.

Responsibilities

• Set and maintain friendly, welcoming standards for all members.
• Perform daily cleaning and ensure gym presentation is excellent.
• Assist in front desk operations: memberships, retail, amenities, phones, POS, and smoothies if applicable.
• Train front desk staff and reinforce LMS/hard copy policies.
• Support daily shift operations including breaks, opening/closing tasks, and task delegation.
• Handle member inquiries and escalate with management when needed.
• Assist in admin tasks: reports, inventory, and club email management.
• Attend scheduled team meetings.
